Responsibilities

An Associate Project Manager:

 

  • Is the owner of customer-facing project delivery for IT solutions aimed at government – Federal, State, and Local
  • Work with and through both functional and technical project team members to deliver solutions in an agile manner
  • Understands project requirements from both a business and a technical stand point and serves as the liaison between business users and the project team
  • Demonstrate leadership skills to manage project resources and cultivate strong customer relationships
  • Able to manage contractual, financial, and personnel related issues associated with project delivery
  • People-centric leadership. Assist in recruitment, mentoring team members, and training.
  • Growth DNA. Support proposal development, new customer demos, and other pre-sales activities
  • Develop knowledge articles and other pieces of thought leadership to advance REI’s positioning
  • Work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with limited process and procedure

 Required Experience/Skills

  • Candidate should have at 3-5 years of professional team building experience supporting / managing projects
  • Prior experience supporting new business development or proposal development activities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Qualifications

Education/Training

A bachelor's degree in economics, business, marketing, statistics, or mathematics is required.


Prior employment at a management / strategy consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey & Company, BCG, Bain, etc.) is strongly preferred.
