    Responsibilities

    An Associate Project Manager:

    • Is the owner of customer-facing project delivery for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics projects aimed at government – Federal, State, and Local
    • Has demonstrated experience of delivering projects that focuses on Business Intelligence, Reporting, and Advanced Analytics including R or Python
    • Is passionate about data analytics and is able to independently solve complex analytical problems.
    • Conceptualizes viable solutions that meets customer objectives and project requirements within the cost and schedule constraints.
    • Works with and through both functional and technical project team members to deliver in an agile manner
    • Demonstrates leadership skills to manage project resources and cultivate strong customer relationships
    • Diligently manages risks and mitigates manage and personnel issues associated with project delivery
    • Assists in recruitment, mentoring team members, and training.
    • Supports proposal development, new customer demos, and other pre-sales activities
    • Develop knowledge articles and other pieces of thought leadership to advance REI’s positioning

     

    Required Experience/Skills

    • Candidate should have at 1-3 years of professional team building experience supporting / managing projects
    • Candidate should have 5+ years of experience with Business Intelligence Reporting, Data Warehouse, Data Management, Governance and Dashboard development.
    • Candidate should have strong verbal, written and presentation skills.

     

    Desired Attributes

    • Preferred experience in Tableau and Microsoft Azure technologies.
    • Preferred experience in Data Science projects with R tool.

    Qualifications

    Education/Training

    A bachelor's degree in data analytics, business intelligence, computer science, economics, statistics, or mathematics is required

    Prior employment at a management / strategy consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey & Company, BCG, Bain, etc.) is strongly preferred.
