    • Own and drive REI’s Talent Acquisition function including all aspects of the recruiting life cycle to meet corporate and team goals.
    • Drive expertise and outcomes for the talent acquisition team, serving as an individual contributor as well as a coach, mentor and co-owner of individual performance.
    • Holistically understand REI’s current talent gaps and future needs, and implement strategies to source, engage and attract top talent.
    • Source, screen and manage a diverse pipeline of high quality technical/IT and non-technical candidates.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, Business Unit Leads and Hiring Mangers.
    • Analyze data, trends and metrics for the Talent Acquisition function to identify talent gaps/challenges and develop solutions.  
    • Find new creative ways of providing exceptional candidate experience.
    • Be the face of the organization and promote our brand.

    • 5+ years of workforce planning and full life-cycle hands-on recruiting experience as part of the organization’s talent acquisition function.
    • Ability to collaborate and bring out the best in those around you.
    • Ability to meet a growing information technology organization’s talent needs.
    • A track record of delivering on recruiting metrics and performance goals, and successfully creating strategic talent programs that support aggressive business growth in a highly specialized and competitive market.
    • Ability to develop and tap into a network of potential candidates.
    • Expertise in talent forecasting techniques.
    • Experience partnering with hiring managers at all levels of the organization to understand their hiring needs and act as a consultant and expert.
    • Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, entrepreneurial business environment, dealing with changing priorities and the ability to turn on a dime to deal with an unexpected contingency. 
    • Knowledge of compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring such as OFCCP and EEOC compliance guidelines.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to build a rapport
    • Ability to negotiate and handle sensitive information.



    • BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience
