    Responsibilities

    As an Senior Test Engineer you will

    • Perform business/system/quality requirements analysis and review
    • Identify the testable requirements and prepare the test strategy for each of the testing types identified
    • Monitor test metrics, and identified areas for improvement and efficiencies
    • Experience working with TDD or BDD
    • Exposure to backend services/micro services testing
    • Perform detailed test designs using sound software test engineering principals in the context of test automation platforms and integration across distributed systems
    • Design/Improve existing test automation frameworks (i.e. make them faster, more flexible and easier to use).
    • Experience evaluating requirements documents, designs specs, and code to create test plans and strategies
    • Experience configuring and troubleshooting database systems
    • Ability to work across projects to understand complex interaction between services
    • Support UAT preparation activities
    • Assist in post-production support-such as end-users support; troubleshooting of issues on relevant production like environment
    • Utilize test tools, including TFS, LoadRunner, SoapUI and others
    • Influence improvements at the project level
    • Participate in external testing forums and gain knowledge of developments in the QA industry (tools, techniques, trends, etc.)
    • Coach and mentor junior team members on the team

    Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed

    Qualifications

    • Candidate will have at least 5-8 years of experience with software or web application testing, preferably .NET
    • 4 year experience with SQL
    • 3 year experience with Selenium
    • He/she should be proficient in assisting in developing test strategy, test plan and test cases for complex domain models such as workflow oriented, data migration and web-based applications.
    • Detail oriented, capable of working under limited direction toward predefined objectives, and have ability to independently determine and develop solutions.
    • Exposure to client side automated testing like JEST, KARMA, PROTRACTOR
    • Candidate must possess sharp analytical and excellent communication skills
    • Experience with 508 Compliance and ADA standards
    • Experience in FDA systems - OCI, Imports, SIRCE would be a plus

    Education and Training

    A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, physics, communications, engineering, math or related field is required
    An advanced degree in communications, computer science, or related discipline may be substituted for two years of experience
    Employer will accept a suitable combination of education, training or experience
