    • Must be up to date on the current technology landscape, be technology agnostic, and have a passion for staying current and experimenting with new approaches and tools.
    • Gathering customer data needs, designing data structures and ensuring information integration.
    • Evaluate and prioritize data and information system requirements in coordination with the business process owners.
    • Work closely with the Service Owners/Product Leads, Front End and Back End Integrators/Developers, Architects and key subject matter experts in defining and delivering solutions
    • Define data governance strategy to support Information and Data Architecture objectives.
    • Design and implement data structures that are efficient, scalable, uphold data integrity and quality, easily maintained.
    • Define, design, and oversee implementation of standards and best practices involved in modeling, describing data entities and relationships.
    • Support customer needs for the creation of data reports, presentation and business intelligence
    • Delivering on a project using Agile or iterative software development methodologies.
    • Working with complex data and understanding the current technologies available for data analysis, processing, and visualization.
    • Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed.


    • Requires BS degree and 7 years of related Data Base Administration experience.
    • Expertise in architecting and designing solutions for large, complex software development projects, accounting for scalability, flexibility, performance, and security.
    • Working with cloud-based solutions and have a strong understanding of service-based solutions and architecture.
    • Experience with performance optimization.
    • Advanced proficiency with Documentum, EJB, Exadata, Oracle TopLink, Linux, Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Oracle Client 10.2, Oracle Database 11gR2 & 12c, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Exadata, Exalogic, Linux 5.9 & 6.8, OC4J and PL/SQL.
    • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects (if required) and good documentation skills.
    • Good analytical thinking skills and a team player.


    • FDA experience is a plus
    • FDA OCI, Imports & SIRCE experience is highly desired
