    REI Systems is seeking a TBM Subject Matter Expert to join our Advisory Service practice and play an active role in client delivery, project management, growth/business development activities, training, and thought leadership.

    • Provide thought leadership in the application of the TBM Framework.
    • Advise clients and the TBM community on continuous improvements to the TBM framework, model, taxonomy and metrics through the infusion of industry best practices, current trends, and lessons learned from TBM engagements in the public sector.
    • Partner with IT executives, service and application owners, finance representatives and functional Lines of Business leaders to develop and continuously refine their TBM roadmap based on their strategic objectives and goals.
    • Serve as a TBM champion; identify targets for change management and implement training and user adoption programs.
    • Lead the implementation of the TBM framework for clients. Support TBM system implementations, including the definition of requirements for maintenance and enhancements.
    • Develop TBM data quality improvement plans based on material impact and complexity of change.
    • Serve as technical point of contact for clients; resolve technical and data quality issues.
    • Develop standard TBM IT cost transparency reports based on client needs and establish monthly operational processes.
    • Provide financial expertise and analytical capabilities.
    • Foster a 'best idea wins' culture, where team members are encouraged to shape work outcomes, regardless of tenure or experience level.
    • Capitalize on team strengths and find ways to upskill where gaps exist.
    • Align work to appropriate resources across the team to ensure work is completed in the most efficient and impactful way.
    • Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

    • Experience in implementation or management of Technology Business Management in the private or public sector
    • 10+ years of related experience in the IT Finance industry; including 5+ years' experience in financial reporting, financial planning, strategic planning and/or annual budgeting
    • 5+ years of management skills with a passion for, and demonstrated experience in, inspiring and developing individuals to meet their highest level of potential
    • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline, or equivalent work experience; MBA, MIS or other advanced degree preferred
    • Experience with IT disciplines, e.g., infrastructure, servers, networks, databases, applications, etc. Understanding of SW/HW acquisition, maintenance, support models (e.g., on-prem, hybrid, cloud)
    • Proven knowledge of vendor management, strategic planning and execution, project management, and best practices implementation
    • Excellent leadership abilities with the ability to develop and execute upon a clear vision, strategy, and/or goals
    • Excellent partnership skills with the ability to build trust and strong partnerships internally and with a focus on enhancing customer outcomes
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, quality and professionalism
    • Ability to work well in team environments of varying composition, personalities, roles and responsibilities
    • Ability to interact with and present to professionals and executives in both industry and government, of varying levels up through the “C-Suite”
    • Exceptional oral, presentation and written communication skills 
    • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
    • Certified Technology Business Management Executiv (CTBME®)


    • Project Management Professional (PMP)®, preferred
    • ITIL Foundation Certification, preferred
    • Knowledge of Federal Government financial management, preferred
