REI Systems is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with experience analyzing and designing solutions to business problems while facilitating the development of multiple solution options to address the needs of the customer. You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products through software testing principles, test automation, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving. Your contributions will make an impact on the critical missions of our government clients, solving challenges that aim to improve millions of lives across the globe. 

Responsibilities

  • Elicit and understand the client’s business needs and mission, define requirements, write user stories, and manage a product backlog; 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multi-vendor environment to understand complex interaction between systems; 
  • Analyze and design proposed solutions while facilitating the development of multiple solution options to address business needs; 
  • Develop and maintain requisite checklists and requirements traceability verification matrix; 
  • Participate in Change Control Board meetings; 
  • Analyze requirements and provide feedback to the product owners and development teams; 
  • Serve as a gatekeeper to ensure the software is “validation ready” from the development team; 
  • Identify and analyze production defect leaks and submit findings for PMO and Technical Project Managers to backlog and plan activities; 
  • Provide required test results and documentation to Government stakeholders and product owners for sign-off of the release; 
  • Support test data management activities; 
  • Lead the validation of test environments in the cloud as per Government standards and frameworks; 
  • Prepare project documentation like meeting minutes, business process documents and other process workflow diagrams as required; 
  • Other similar professional duties may be assigned as needed. 

 

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship required; 
  • Must be able to obtain a Government security clearance; 
  • 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or related position; 
  • 4+ years of experience working with an Agile implementation team writing user stories, grooming product backlog, planning out release planning; 
  • Experience in the areas of requirements elicitation, definition, analysis, and preparing requirements documentation; 
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle of Agile IT projects; 
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA Platform, ServiceNow, Wiki, SharePoint, MS Office, especially Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project; 
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects (if required) and strong documentation skills; 
  • Good analytical thinking skills and a team player; 
  • Must be a self-starter/self-directed member of the team; 
  • Strong analytical and communication skills. 

   

Education/Training  

 

  • A bachelor's degree in business management, computer science, information systems, or related field is desired; 
  • An advanced degree in communications, computer science, or related discipline may be substituted for two years of experience; 
  • Employer will accept a suitable combination of education, training or experience
