Responsibilities

Specific Roles and Responsibilities for the FDA Program Manager position include but are not limited to:

 

  • Manage a Program Investment Portfolio (containing 10+ applications),ensuring excellent contract delivery on the FDA SIRCE contrac
  • Manage all aspects of projects from planning through execution, serve as the main point of contact, and strive to meet product delivery, quality, and budget goals
  • Manage risk, budget analysis, and scope effectively to create successful outcomes.  
  • Manage financial planning, forecasting, and corrective actions to ensure the program adheres to budget 
  • Identify superior technical talent, recruit and build high performing teams focused on service delivery 
  • Works with and through both functional and technical project team members to deliver in an agile manner
  • Demonstrates leadership skills to manage project resources and cultivate strong customer relationships
  • Diligently manages risks and mitigates manage and personnel issues associated with project delivery
  • Assist in program recruitment, mentoring of team members, and training.
  • Support proposal development, new customer demos, and other pre-sales activities
  • Develop knowledge articles and other pieces of thought leadership to advance REI’s positioning

Qualifications

The FDA Program Manager will have the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional project and program management
  • Proven experience in managing Agile Delivery teams of 40+ resources
  • Demonstrated experience of delivering on a portfolio of projects that focuses on development, modernization and enhancement
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Pride in quality of work
  • A bachelor's degree in business, information technology, computer engineering or related field is required. Employer will accept a suitable combination of education, training or experience.
