Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

The Senior Consultant will support the U.S. General Services Administration with federal agency implementation of the Federal IT Acquisition and Reform Act (FITARA) and other government-wide IT policy initiatives. Roles will include, but are not limited to: consulting and advisory support for government stakeholders and agencies, stakeholder engagement and outreach planning, IT policy and legislative analysis, data analysis, IT market data research, etc. Strong analytic, written & oral communication skills are required.                     

 

Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience 

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Masters degree in business, public administration, public policy or equivalent[CB1] 
  • Strategy or management consulting experience
  • Federal Government or Federal Contracting experience
  • Knowledge of and/or understanding of:
    • Policy Analysis
    • Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA)
    • Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI)
    • Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC)
    • Technology Business Management (TBM)
    • Data Centers, Cloud, Infrastructure
    • IT Acquisition/Procurement
    • Project Management (PMBOK)
    • Agile Development Methodology


Education:B.S./B.A. degree required in business management, political science, communications, systems analysis, MIS, or other relevant field

 

Clearance: Eligible to obtain a clearance.

 

Location/Remote: This position can be done remotely.

 

The essential functions of this position require that the employee performing this role work on-site at REI’s Sterling location.
