Responsibilities

The Senior Consultant’s roles will include but are not limited to: consulting and advisory support for government stakeholders and agencies, developing policy strategies, implementing solutions, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business consulting, project management, strategic change management, government-wide policy and legislative analysis, and data analysis. Candidate has experience working across multiple disparate workstreams and can independently prioritize competing tasks and priorities to ensure on schedule delivery. Strong analytic, written & oral communication skills are required. Candidate is able to perform complex research and analysis.                                       

Specifically, a Senior Consultant is expected to:

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Excel in a team environment to deliver solutions that meet and exceed our customer needs.
  • Work closely with executives and decision makers at all levels of the organization.
  • Support and own customer-facing and REI-internal projects.
  • Manage tasks and projects that support larger workstreams.
  • Contribute to business development and other growth initiatives.
  • Possess the ability to work in teams with guidance and support from other team members to solve problems.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, quality, and professionalism.

Qualifications

Qualifications      
        

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience (required).
  • Strategy or management consulting experience (preferred).
  • Federal Government or Federal Contracting experience (preferred).
  • Strong Excel and/or PowerBI skills  (preferred).
  • Knowledge of and/or understanding of (preferred): 

o   Policy Analysis 

o   Shared Services Business Lines (FM, HR, Procurement, Travel, etc.) 

o   Government-wide Shared Services and the Federal Integrated Business Framework (FIBF) 

o   IT Acquisition/Procurement 

o   Project Management (PMBOK) 

o   Agile Development Methodology

 

 

 

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. A master’s degree in business, public administration, public policy, or relevant field (preferred).

 

Clearance:  US Citizenship required.
