Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities: As a Senior Consultant in our Advisory Services Practice, you will play a valued role on the team, with significant exposure to internal and client leadership. As a Senior Consultant, you will be expected to:

 

Confidently Engage with Clients and Management

  • Manage day-to-day interactions with executive-level clients and their stakeholders
  • Coordinate with the project manager to sequence priorities and perform project work
  • Coordinate with the REI Engagement Manager and other teammates informed on the progress of work, while escalating risks and issues

Proactively Lead Development of Communications Deliverables

  • Be the primary author on multiple client-ready deliverables
  • Take ownership of project deliverables, timelines, and requirements for assigned projects, workstreams, and tasks
  • Manage work overall on multiple concurrent projects, workstreams, and tasks, ensuring that work meets deadlines, is at required quality levels, and achieves expected REI profitability targets
  • Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, quality, and professionalism
  • Excel in a team environment to deliver solutions that meet and exceed our clients’ needs    
  • Possess exceptional oral, presentation, and written communication skills   

Effectively Manage Team Members and Their Work

  • Support the Project Manager and REI Engagement Manager in project/task delivery
  • Provide input toward performance reviews for team members
  • Have a willingness to share information, and be coachable and open to feedback

Contribute to Organic Business Growth

  • Contribute to organic growth and business development for ASP and support other REI business development initiatives
  • Author sections of technical responses for proposals

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 or more years of relevant communications experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Previous experience at a consulting firm
  • Previous experience working at or with a federal or state government agency

Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

 

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.

 

Location: Hybrid- Sterling, VA HQ
