Responsibilities

Project Overview:

This position is supporting the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in their mission to safeguard the national banking system and provide fair access to financial services for everyone.  In that pursuit, we lead the OCC in their modernization journey through digital transformation of legacy apps on to the Appian platform and support their ever growing portfolio of Appian applications

 

Position Overview:

REI is looking for an Appian Consultant to architect, design and implement industry-focused, integrated solutions leveraging the entire Appian Technology Platform of solutions. As an Appian Consultant you will be a key leader for the business of consulting as well as the business of our clients. REI’s growth trajectory ensures that the Appian Consultants will immediately impact customer interaction and team development, working closely with our clients and REI core members. Not only do REI developers become experts at building process applications on the Appian software, they also become business process experts in the various client industries they work.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions
  • 5+ years of related IT experience
  • Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification
  • Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology
  • Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a “do whatever it takes attitude”)
  • Agile certification
  • Experience Working In The Following Technologies Required:
    • Appian
    • RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB)
    • Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)
  • DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management
  • Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence

 

Education:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or a technical related field

 

Clearance:

  • No clearance required but preferred public trust

 

Location: 

  • Hybrid, required to be in Sterling location once a week
